9522 L-band Transceiver with GPS
The 9522 L-Band Transceiver with GPS is a product developed by NAL Research Corporation consisting of the integration and combination of a Motorola 9522 L-Band Transceiver with a GPS receiver.
With the exception of an additional GPS antenna connector, all other hardware and software interfaces remain the same as the original 9522. This means any existing products utilizing the 9522 can directly replace it with this product without further modifications and take advantage of the GPS features. The GPS information is obtained over the serial interface via an extended set of AT commands. Additionally, standard NEMA formats are supported. Any commercial or government, ground or airborne application, that requires real-time transmission of position, velocity and time can now employ the 9522 with GPS.
